Subject: Extension of timelines for completion of Annual Performance Assessment Report (APAR) for the Reporting Year 2025-26 in respect of Central Civil Services – reg.
Reference is invited to this Office Circular dated 09.05.2025 vide which the contents of, Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T) O.M. dated 09.04.2025, regarding the revised time schedule for preparation and maintenance of Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs) for the year 2024-25 onwards was circulated to all concerned. The said O.M. revised the timelines prescribed under Annexure-III of DoP&T O.M. dated 23.07.2009. Subsequently, DoP&T, vide O.M. dated 13.05.2026 (copy enclosed), has further extended the timelines in respect of the APAR process for the year 2025-26.
Accordingly, all Regional Offices/Sub-Regional Offices/Directorates/Medical Institutions/Colleges and other field units of ESIC are hereby directed to strictly adhere to the revised timelines and instructions issued by DoP&T while processing, reviewing, and completing the APARs for the relevant period. It may be ensured that all stages of the APAR process, including self- appraisal, reporting, reviewing, and acceptance, are completed within the prescribed schedule so as to avoid administrative delays and ensure timely finalization of APARs.
