Subject: Intimation of Claim Status to Insured Persons through SMS

Sir/Madam,

An SMS facility for Insured Persons has been incorporated in the system to facilitate timely communication regarding the status of their claims. Under this facility, SMS is being automatically sent to the concerned IPs at various stages of claim processing, including submission, rejection and approval of claims.

The facility is intended to enhance transparency and improve communication with the beneficiaries by keeping IPs informed about the progress and status of their claims without requiring them to make visits to the Branch. This initiative will also enable IPs to receive timely information regarding the disposal of their claims.

This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
