The Competent Authority has approved the promotion of Shri Merrymel George,
Director, ESICH&MC Rajajinagar, Bangalore (presently on Temporary duty at ESICH&MC,
Beltola), to the post of Additional Commissioner in Level 13A of the pay matrix, on regular
basis, based on the recommendations of the Review DPC meeting held on 11.03.2026 in
UPSC.
Promotion of the aforesaid officer has been ordered notionally w.e.f. 11.04.2022 i.e.
the date of regular promotion of his immediate junior, namely Shri Anil Kumar Sahu.
However, the actual monetary benefit shall be admissible from the date of issuance of
this order.
The pay on regular promotion will be fixed in Level 13A of the pay matrix as per the
provisions of FR-22(I)(a)(1) and the officer shall exercise his option for fixation within one
month from the date of issuance of this order.
Seniority of Shri Merrymel George in the promoted post will be fixed as per his
position in the panel recommended by the UPSC in Review DPC.
The charge report of the Officer may be sent to all concerned in due course, with a
copy to dpc-e1hq@esic.gov.in and estt1-hq@esic.gov.in.
