Competent Authority has ordered the promotion of the following Personal Assistant to the post of Private Secretary in Level-8 of Pay Matrix {Rs. 47,600-1,51,100/-} on regular basis, on the recommendations of UPSC letter no. 5/18/2025-C-XI dated 01.06.2026 on qualifying Combined Stenographers’(Grade ‘B’/Grade-‘I) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination against the vacancy year 2019 held on 13 & 14.12.2025.

The regular promotion of the aforesaid officer shall take effect from the date of assumption of charge of the promoted post.
The pay of the officer on promotion shall be fixed in Level-8 of the Pay Matrix (₹47,600–1,51,100). The officer may exercise the option for fixation of pay under the provisions of FR 22(I)(a)(1) within one month from the date of issue of this Order or from the date of assumption of charge of the promoted post, as applicable.
The aforesaid officer shall be on probation for a period of two years from the date of regular promotion, in terms of Regulation 5 of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (Staff and Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1959.
The regular promotion of the aforesaid officer shall be subject to the final outcome of the case titled Jarnail Singh & Others vs. Lachhmi Narain Gupta & Others [Civil Appeal No. 629 of 2022 arising out of SLP (C) No. 30621/2011] pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, and to such further orders as may be issued by the Government in pursuance thereof, as conveyed by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T) vide O.M. No. 36012/16/2019-Estt. (Res.) dated 12.04.2022.
