Addendum
Subject: Regarding upper age limit of Security Guards/ Supervisors
Reference is invited to Headquarters letter No. D-36011/1/2021-Gen. dated 14.11.2024 on the subject “Guidelines on Engagement of Contractual Manpower in ESIC”. In this regard, it is hereby informed that the following amendment is made:
“The upper age limit of DGR engaged Security Guards and Security Supervisors shall be 65 years, in consonance with the provisions of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 and guidelines issued by the Department of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Security Services.”
However, this shall be subject to General fitness of Health of the deployed person.
This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
