The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued a directive regarding the relieving of Personal Assistants transferred under the Annual General Transfer for 2026. The Competent Authority has now mandated that all such officials must be relieved immediately, with the exception of the official listed at Serial Number 6 of the original transfer order. Heads of offices and accounting units are prohibited from retaining these transferred officials for more than seven days from the date of this memorandum. Any official not relieved within this seven-day window will be considered automatically relieved upon the expiry of the period.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Relieving of Personal Assistants transferred under Annual General Transfer for the 'Transfer Year- 2026'.
Annual General Transfer in the cadre of Personal Assistant for the transfer year -2026 have been issued, vide HQ Office Order No. 28 of 2026 dated 27/03/2026 directing, interalia, relieving and joining of the officials transferred with immediate effect.
In this connection, it has come to the notice of the Competent Authority that some of the concerned officials have not been relieved yet, citing that their reliver is yet to join, etc.
The Competent Authority has directed to relieve these officials immediately except SL No.06 of the ibid Hqrs. Office Order dated 27/03/2026 at present.
Accordingly, officials under transfer may not be retained for more than seven days w.e.f. from the date of issue of idid Office Memorandum. Retention beyond seven days shall not be allowed and officials will stand relived after expiry of the period/terms as stipulated herewith.
All the Head of offices/Accounting Units are directed to ensure strict compliance.
This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
