As the FinancialYear 2025-26 will close on 31st March 2026, it is imperative to maintain the required minimum balance in all ESI accounts to prevent audit objections. Kindly ensure that the following instructions are adhered to: '1 . Salary, Pension, and Benefit Payments: The fixed monthly limits for March 2026 salary, pension, and benefit payments will not be transferred in March. Hence, all fund requests for intermittent expenditures must be raised by 27th March 2026, no later than 11:00 AM to ensure timely processing of payments and avoid any pending liabilities. 2. Transfer of Unutilized Funds: Any unutilized funds in Account No.2 (including Branch Office, HDC-R&M, or other accounts) must be transferred to ESI A/c No. 1 (Central) after ensuring the required minimum balance is maintained in each account, by the end of working hours on 27th March 2026. 3. Fund Requests after 27th March 2026: Any fund requests raised on 30th March 2026 will not be entertained unless specifically approved by the competent authority. 4. March 2026 Fixed Monthly Limit: The fixed monthly limit for March 2026 will be automatically transferred on 2nd April 2026. Please ensure strict adherence to these instructions to ensure smooth closure of the financial year and avoid audit-related issues. This issue with approval of the Financial Commissioner.
