Policy for procurement of IT Hardware for ESI Location Letter        dated 31.07.2024 Madam/Sir, In reference to Hqrs. letters of even number dated 11.07.2024, the technical specifications of L2 Network Switch under para 5.1 and L3 Network Switch under para 5.2 stands revised as per the attached Annexure-A. The Annexure-A includes recommended specifications of PoE and Non-PoE Layer 2 switches. PoE switches are generally costlier than Non-PoE switches. Accordingly, it is recommended that PoE switches should be deployed in such locations where CCTV cameras or IP phones are anticipated for future use.
