This arrangement serves as an additional monitoring layer pending the development of a permanent Digital Portal on the ERP system. All ESIC Medical Colleges, Hospitals, and Institutions must continue submitting drug sample testing details and 'Not of Standard Quality' (NSQ) reports to Headquarters via email in prescribed formats. Before sending new samples for testing, institutions are required to review the centralized Google Sheet to prevent redundant testing of the same drug or batch. This interim process remains in effect until the ERP portal is operational or further instructions are issued by Headquarters.

Ref: i. ESIC Hqrs Website web upload, console no. 22214/2025 dated 28.07.2025 and console no. 22926/2025 dated 30.09.2025 regarding Strengthening of Drug Testing Mechanism in ESI Institutions. ii. Minutes of Meeting (MoM) of D.O. Data Review Video Conference held on 15.05.2026.
With reference to the subject cited above and in continuation of earlier instructions issued by Headquarters regarding strengthening of Drug Testing Mechanism in ESI Institutions, it is informed that the matter relating to centralized monitoring and reporting of drug quality testing activities has been reviewed at Headquarters level.
Further, during the D.O. Data Review Video Conference held on 15.05.2026, the need for strengthening monitoring mechanisms and establishment of a centralized reporting framework for drug testing activities across ESIC Institutions was deliberated. Pending development and operationalization of the proposed Digital Portal on ERP, it has been decided to operationalize an interim centralized reporting and monitoring arrangement through a web-based reporting mechanism (Google Sheet) at Headquarters level.
It is clarified that the present instructions are being issued as an additional monitoring and reporting arrangement and shall be read in continuation of and in conjunction with earlier instructions already issued on the subject. The provision of earlier web uploads/instructions shall continue to remain in force, and compliance thereof shall remain mandatory.
