These companies surrendered their registration certificates to the regulator. The cancellations occur because the entities exited the Non-Banking Financial Institution business, met criteria for unregistered Core Investment Companies, met criteria for unregistered Type I NBFCs, or ceased to exist as legal entities due to merger or dissolution. The Reserve Bank of India exercises its authority under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 to perform these cancellations.

The following eight Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) have surrendered the Certificate of Registration (CoR) granted to them by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The RBI, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has therefore cancelled their CoR.
i) Cancellation of CoR due to exit from Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) business
