Two companies surrender their registration due to exit from the Non-Banking Financial Institution business. Two other companies surrender their registration because they cease to exist as legal entities through processes such as amalgamation, merger, dissolution, or voluntary strike-off. The Reserve Bank of India exercises its powers under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 to perform these cancellations.

Four NBFCs surrender their Certificate of Registration to the RBI
The following four Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) have surrendered the Certificate of Registration (CoR) granted to them by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The RBI, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has therefore cancelled their CoR.
