सा.का.जन. 91(अ).— केंद्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिधियम, 1944 (1944 का 1) की िारा 5क की उप-िारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शधियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्द्र सरकार, इस बात से संतुष्ट होते हुए दक ऐसा करना िनजहत में आिश्यक है, एतद्द्वारा भारत सरकार, जित्त मंत्रालय (रािस्ट्ि जिभाग) की अजधसूचना संख्या 03/2025-केंद्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर, 2025 जिसे सा.का.नी. संख्या 955 (अ), दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर, 2025 के तहत भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (i) में प्रकाजित दकया गया था, में आगे जनम्नजलजखत संिोधन करती है, अथाात :-

उक्त अजधसूचना में, ताजलका में, (i) क्रम सं. 1 और उससे संबंजधत प्रजिजष्टयों के स्ट्थान पर, जनम्नजलजखत क्रम सं. और प्रजिजष्टयााँ प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत की िाएंगी, अथाात :- (1) (2) (3) (4) “1. 2401 अजिजनर्मात तंबाकू या तंबाकू अपजिष्ट, जिसपे कोई ब्ांड का नाम ना हो और िह रीटेल सेल के जलए पैक ना हो िून्द्य”;

(ii) क्रम सं. 1 और उससे संबंजधत प्रजिजष्टयों के पश्चात, जनम्नजलजखत क्रम सं. और प्रजिजष्टयााँ अंतःस्ट्थाजपत की िाएंगी, अथाात :- (1) (2) (3) (4) “1क. 2401 अजिजनर्मात तंबाकू या तंबाकू अपजिष्ट, ऊपर दिए गए क्रम सं.1 के अलािा 18%”।

टटप्पणी:-मूल अजधसूचना संख्या 03/2025-केंद्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर, 2025 को सा.का.नी. संख्या 955(अ), दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर, 2025 के तहत भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (i) में प्रकाजित दकया गया था।

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st February, 2026 No. 04/2026-Central Excise G.S.R. 91(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) (hereinafter referred to as the Excise Act), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 03/2025-Central Excise, dated the 31st December, 2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 955(E), dated the 31st December, 2025, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, - (i) For Sl. No. 1, and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely: -

(1) (2) (3) (4) “1. 2401 Unmanufactured tobacco or tobacco refuse, not bearing a brand name and not packed for retail sale Nil”;

(ii) after Sl. No.1, the following serial number and entries relating thereto, shall be inserted, namely:-

(1) (2) (3) (4) “1A. 2401 Unmanufactured tobacco or tobacco refuse, other than Sl. No. 1 above 18%”.
