सा.का.जि. 544(अ) — केंद्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अजधजियम, 2013 (2013 का 20) की धारा 22 की उपधारा (4) के खंड (घ) के साथ पठित धारा 39 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (ड.) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, खाद्य सुरक्षा (राज्यों को सहायता) जियम, 2015 का और संिोधि करिे के जलए जिम्नजलजखत जियम बिाती है, अथावत्:

1. संजक्षप्त िाम और प्रारंभ - (1) इि जियमों का संजक्षप्त िाम खाद्य सुरक्षा (राज्यों को सहायता) संिोधि जियम, 2026 है। (2) ये रािपत्र में इिके प्रकािि की तारीख को प्रर्ृत्त होंगे।

2. खाद्य सुरक्षा (राज्यों को सहायता) जियम, 2015 में, जियम 7 में उप-जियम (1क) के स्ट्थाि पर जिम्नजलजखत उप-जियम रखा िाएगा, अथावत्:-

“(1क) उप-जियम (1) के स्ट्पष्टीकरण में यथाजिर्िवष्ट सामान्य प्रर्गव या जर्िेष प्रर्गव में राज्य सरकारों और संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों को केंद्रीय सहायता के व्यय के संिोजधत माििंड (प्रजत क्वंटल रुपये में) और उसमें केंद्रीय सरकार के जहस्ट्से की सीमा (प्रजतित में), िीचे िी गई सारणी में यथा जिर्िवष्ट, उि राज्य सरकारों और संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों को तारीख 1 अप्रैल, 2026 से प्रिाि की िाएगी िो धारा 12 में जर्जिर्िवष्ट सुधारों और केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर दिए गए जििेिों का अिुपालि करते हैं, अथावत्:-

MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (Department of Food and Public Distribution) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st July, 2026

G.S.R. 544(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) of section 39 read with clause (d) of sub-section (4) of section 22 of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (20 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) Rules, 2015 namely:-

1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) Amendment Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) Rules, 2015, in rule 7 for sub-rule (1A) the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely :-

“(1A) The revised norms of expenditure (in rupee per quintal) of Central assistance to the State Governments and Union territories in the General category or Special category, as specified in the Explanation to sub-rule (1) and the limit of the share of the Central Government thereto (in percentage) as specified in the table below, shall be provided with effect from the 1st day of April, 2026 to those State Governments and Union territories who comply with the reforms specified in section 12 and the directions given by the Central Government from time to time, namely:-
