सा.का.जि. 489(अ).— केंद्रीय सरकार, जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि अजधजियम, 2009 (2010 का 1) की धारा 52 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (ढ), खंड (ण) और खंड (त) के साथ पठित उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रित् त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (सरकार द्वारा अिुमोदित परीक्षण केंद्र) जियम, 2013 का और संिोधि करिे के जलए, जिम्नजलजखत जियम बिाती है, अथावत्:-

1. (1) संजक्षप्त िाम और प्रारंभ– इि जियमों का संजक्षप्त िाम जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (सरकार द्वारा अिुमोदित परीक्षण केंद्र) िूसरा संिोधि जियम, 2026 है।

(2) ये रािपत्र में इिके प्रकािि की तारीख को प्रर्ृत्त होंगे।

2. जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (सरकार द्वारा अिुमोदित परीक्षण केन्द्द्र) जियम, 2013 के जियम 18 के उप-जियम (3) के स्ट्थाि पर जिजललजखत को रखा िाएगा, अथावत्:

“(3) प्रत्येक उपस्ट्कर के संबंध में एक र्र्व की अर्जध के जलए सरकारी अिुमोदित परीक्षण केंद्र की मान्द्यता के िर्ीिीकरण के समय िस हिार रुपये की फीस संिेय होगी ।“

ठिप्पण: मूल जियम भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग-II, खंड 3, उपखंड (i) में सा.का.जि. संखयांक 593(अ) तारीख 5 जसतंबर, 2013 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकए गए थे और सा.का.जि. संखयांक 346 (अ) तारीख 08 मई, 2026 द्वारा अंजतम बार संिोजधत दकए गए थे।

MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (Department of Consumer Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17th June, 2026

G.S.R. 489(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (n), (o) and (p) of sub-section (2) of section 52 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Legal Metrology (Government Approved Test Centre) Rules, 2013, namely:-

1. (1) Short title and commencement.- These rules may be called the Legal Metrology (Government Approved Test Centre) Second Amendment Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Legal Metrology (Government Approved Test Centre) Rules, 2013 in rule 18, for sub-rule (3), the following shall be substituted:-

“(3) A fee of rupees ten thousand shall be payable at the time of renewal of recognition of a Government Approved Test Centre for a period of one year in respect of each equipment.”
