सा.का.जन. 64(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, खान और खननज (निकास और निननयमन) अनिननयम, 1957 (1957 का 67) की िारा 11 ग द्वारा प्रदत्त शनियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उक् त अजधजनयम की पहली अनुसूची में जनम् नजलजखत और संिोधन करती है, अर्ाात:- खान और खजनि (जवकास और जवजनयमन) अजधजनयम, 1957 की पहली अनुसूची में,- (i) भाग क की मि 1 में, “कोयला” िब् ि के स्ट् र्ान पर “कोयला, जिसके अंतगात कोककारी कोयला भी है” िब् ि रखे िाएंगे; और (ii) भाग घ में, मि 3 उससें संबंजधत प्रजवजि के पश् चात् जनम् नजलजखत मि अंत:स्ट् र्ाजपत की िाएगी, अर्ाात:- “3 क. कोककारी कोयला।” [फा. सं. सीसीटी-12/1/2025-सीसीटी] सनोज कुमार झा, अपर सनिि सं. 63] नई दिल्ली, बुधवार, िनवरी 28, 2026/माघ 8, 1947

2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] टिप् पण:- खान और खजनि (जवकास और जवजनयमन) अजधजनयम, 1957 की पहली अनुसूची को पूवा में संसि के अजधजनयमों के द्वारा संिोजध त दकया गया र्ा। तर्ाजप, वर्ा 2015 के अजधजनयम संख यांक 10 में संिोधन के आधार पर, नई धारा 11 ग का अंत:स्ट् र्ापन केंद्रीय सरकार को पहली अनुसूची में संिोधन करने के जलए सिक् त करता है।
MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th January, 2026
G.S.R. 64(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11C of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the First Schedule to the said Act, namely:-
In The First Schedule to the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957,- (i) in PART A, in item 1, for the word "Coal", the words "Coal, including Coking Coal" shall be substituted; and (ii) in PART D, after item 3 and the entry relating thereto, the following item shall be inserted, namely:- "3A. Coking Coal.".

Note: - The First Schedule to the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 was earlier amended by Acts of Parliament. However, by virtue of amending Act 10 of 2015, the insertion of new section 11C empowers the Central Government to amend the First Schedule.
