सा.का.नन. 826(अ).—राष्ट्रपजत, संजवधाि के अिुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए,
इलेक्ट्रॉजिकी और सूचिा प्रौद्योजगकी मंत्रालय, मािकीकरण, परीक्षण और गुणवत्ता प्रमाणि जिदेिालय, संयुि जिदेिक और उप
जिदेिक, समूह 'क' पद भती जियम, 2021 का संिोधि करिे के जलए जिम्नजलजखत जियम बिाती हैं, अर्ाात:-
1. संजक्षप्त िाम और प्रारंभ –
(1) इि जियमों का संजक्षप्त िाम इलेक्ट्रॉजिकी और सूचिा प्रौद्योजगकी मंत्रालय, मािकीकरण परीक्षण और गुणवत्ता प्रमाणि
जिदेिालय, संयुि जिदेिक और उप जिदेिक (समूह ‘क’ पद) भती (संिोधि) जियम, 2025 है।
(2) ये रािपत्र में उिके प्रकािि की तारीख को प्रवृत होंगे।
2. इलेक्ट्रॉजिकी और सूचिा प्रौद्योजगकी मंत्रालय, मािकीकरण परीक्षण और गुणवत्ता प्रमाणि जिदेिालय, संयुि जिदेिक और
उप जिदेिक , समूह ‘क’ पद भती जियम, 2021 की अिुसूची में, -
(क) क्रम संख यांक 1 के जवरुद्ध, िो संयुि जिदेिक के पद से संबंजधत है, -

(i) स्ट्तम्भ (5) में प्रजवजि के स्ट्र्ाि पर, "चयि" प्रजवजि प्रजतस्ट्र्ाजपत की िाएगी;
(ii) स्ट्तम्भ (11) में, "प्रोन्नजत" िीर्ाक के अधीि, जवद्यमाि प्रजवजियों के स्ट्र्ाि पर, जिम्नजलजखत प्रजवजि प्रजतस्ट्र्ाजपत की िाएगी
- "मािकीकरण, परीक्षण तर्ा गुणवत्ता प्रमाणि जिदेिालय के अधीि प्रयोगिालाओं अर्वा केंद्रों में वेति मैट्ररक्ट्स में स्ट्तर- 11
(67,700-2,08,700 रु.) में जियजमत आधार पर पांच वर्ा सेवा देिे वाले उप जिदेिक और जिन्होंिे समय-समय पर यर्ाजवजिजित
सुसंगत कायाक्षेत्र या क्षेत्र में दो सप्ताह का प्रजिक्षण सफलतापूवाक पूरा दकया है” प्रजवजि अंत:स्ट् र्ाजपत दकए िाएँगे;
(iii) स्ट्तम्भ (11) में, "प्रोन्नजत" िीर्ाक के अधीि, "ट्रिप्पण 1 और ट्रिप्पण 2" का लोप दकया िाएगा और "ट्रिप्पण 3" को "ट्रिप्पण"
के रूप में पट्रित दकया िाएगा;
(ख) क्रम संख यांक 2 के जवरुद्ध, िो उप जिदेिक के पद से संबंजधत है, -
(i) स्ट्तम्भ (5) में प्रजवजि के स्ट्र्ाि पर, "चयि" प्रजवजि प्रजतस्ट्र्ाजपत की िाएगी;
(ii) स्ट्तम्भ (11) में, "प्रोन्नजत" िीर्ाक के अधीि, "मािकीकरण, परीक्षण तर्ा गुणवत्ता प्रमाणि जिदेिालय के अधीि
प्रयोगिालाओं अर्वा केंद्रों में " वेति मैट्ररक्ट्स में स्ट्तर- 9 (53,100-1,67,800 रु.) में जियजमत आधार पर पांच वर्ा सेवा देिे
वाले प्रिासजिक अजधकारी” िब्दों के पिात्, "और जिन्होंिे समय-समय पर यर्ाजवजिजित सुसंगत कायाक्षेत्र या क्षेत्र में दो सप्ताह का
प्रजिक्षण सफलतापूवाक पूरा दकया है" िब्द अंत:स्ट् र्ाजपत दकए िाएँगे;
(iii) स्ट्तम्भ (11) में, "प्रोन्नजत" िीर्ाक के अधीि, "ट्रिप्पण 1 और ट्रिप्पण 2" का लोप दकया िाएगा और "ट्रिप्पण 3" को "ट्रिप्पण"
के रूप में पट्रित दकया िाएगा;
(iv) स्ट्तम्भ (11) में, उप-िीर्ा "प्रजतजियुजि" के अधीि, मद (ii) के पिात्, जिम्नजलजखत मद "(iii अजधकारी जिन्होंिे वेति मैट्ररक्ट्स में
स्ट्तर- 7 (44900- 142400 रु.) में पदों पर जियजमत आधार पर पांच वर्ा सेवा की हो " अंत:स्ट् र्ाजपत दकया िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th November, 2025
G.S.R. 826(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President
hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Standardisation, Testing
and Quality Certification Directorate, Joint Director and Deputy Director, Group ‘A' post Recruitment Rules, 2021, namely:
1. Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology, Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification Directorate, Joint Director and Deputy Director (Group 'A'
Posts), Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification
Directorate, Joint Director and Deputy Director, Group 'A' Post Recruitment Rules, 2021, in the Schedule, -

(a) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Joint Director, -
(i) for entry in column (5), the entry "Selection" shall be substituted;
(ii) in column (11), under the heading “Promotion”, for the existing entries, the entries “Deputy
Director with five years’ regular service in level-11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700-208700) in laboratories or Centres under
Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification Directorate and having successfully completed two weeks training in relevant
field or area as decided from time to time” shall be substituted;
(iii) in column (11), under the heading “Promotion”, the “Note 1 and Note 2” shall be omitted and “Note 3” shall be
read as “Note”;
(b) against serial number 2, relating to post of Deputy Director, -
(i) for entry in column (5), the entry "Selection" shall be substituted;
(ii) in column (11), under the heading “Promotion”, after the words, “Administrative Officers in level-9 in the pay
matrix (Rs. 53100-167800) in Laboratories or Centres under Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification Directorate with
five years of regular service, the words “and having successfully completed two weeks training in relevant field or area as
decided from time to time” shall be inserted;
(iii) in column (11), under the heading “Promotion”, the “Note 1 and Note 2” shall be omitted and “Note 3” shall be
read as “Note”;
(iv) in column (11), under the sub-heading “Deputation”, after the item (ii), the following item “(iii) officers with nine
years’ regular service in the posts in level-7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900- 142400)" shall be inserted.
