MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT (Directorate General Of Mines Safety) NOTIFICATION Dhanbad, the 16th March, 2026 G.S.R. 187(E).— In view of the provisions of Regulations 12 (1) and 12 (4) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017, and observations made by competent authority, the Bye-laws framed by the Board of Mining Examinations, vide G.S.R. 491(E) dated 22.07.2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), dated 24.07.2025, relating to grant of Gas Testing Certificates of Competency is hereby rescinded with immediate effect. If there is any variation or doubt between English and Hindi versions of this notification, then English version of notification will prevail over the Hindi version.
