2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Secunderabad, the 8th July, 2026 S.O. 3733(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 the Central Government hereby notifies "New Line between Mukutban (Adilabad) - Gadchandur stations (38.21 Km)" as a Special Railway Project for acquisition of land in the State of Maharashtra in the Districts of Chandrapur and Yavatmal for providing National Infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
