This is in continuation to the circular dated 19.01.2026 revising the time lines for submission of Annual Performance Assessment Report (APAR) for the year 2024-25 through SPARROW. 2. It has been observed that a significant number of APARs for the year 2024-25 are stiil pending at the level of the Reviewing Officer, even after the lapse of last date for comments by the Reviewing Officer (January 27th, 2026), as per the circular dated 19.01.2026. 3. Considering this to be the first year of SPARROW implementation and in view of the pending AP ARs, the Competent Authority has agreed to further revise the timelines for completion of va11ous AP AR activities for tl1e year 2024-25. The revised th11el ines with reviewing have been extended till 09.02.2026, are as under: s. Activity Timeline (Date on Auto No. or before) Forward I Completion of APAR by Reviewing Officer and 09.02.2026 10.02.2026 forwarding to Administration/CR Section "' Disclosure of APAR to the Officer Reported Upon 12.02.2026 - "' Within 14 days from 3 Submission of representation by ORU, if any disclosure i.e., - 26.02.2026 4 Forwarding of representation by AP AR Custodian 04.03.2026 - to Competent Authority 5 Disposal of representation by Competent Authority 03.04.2026 - ·and forwarding to APAR Cu~-todian Communication of decision to ORU by APAR Within 3 days from 6 finalization of - Custodian decision 7 Completion of AP AR process and final taking on 06.04.2026 - record 4. It is reiterated that the timelines highlighted are the maximum timelines beyond which the AP ARs wiJJ be automaticaJJy pushed to the next level. Reviewjng authori6es and AP AR Custodians are requested to process the cases pending at their level even before the due dates. 5. It is directed to strictly follow the above revised timelines for completion of various AP AR aetivities for the year 2024-25.
