L.-33004/99 vlk/kj.k EXTRAORDINARY Hkkx III—[k.M 4 PART III—Section 4 izkf/dkj ls izdkf'kr PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY la- 451] ubZ fnYyh] 'kqØokj] fnlEcj 9] 2016@vxzgk;.k 18] 1938 No. 451] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2016/AGRAHAYANA 18, 1938 भारतीय बीमा िविनयामक और िवकास ᮧािधकरण अिधसूचना हैदराबाद, 2 ᳰदसंबर, 2016 भारतीय बीमा िविनयामक और िवकास ᮧािधकरण (ई-बीमा पॉिलिसयᲂ का िनगᭅम)(पहला संशोधन) िविनयम,2016 फा. सं. भा.बी.िव.िव.ᮧा./िविनयम/23/135/2016 .– बीमा अिधिनयम, 1938 कᳱ धारा 114ए कᳱ उप- धारा 2 के खंड (जीबी) के साथ पᳯठत धारा 14 (2) तथा बीमा िविनयामक और िवकास ᮧािधकरण अिधिनय़म, 1999 कᳱ धारा 26 कᳱ उपधारा (1) के ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए ᮧािधकरण, बीमा सलाहकार सिमित के साथ परामशᭅ करने के बाद, इसके ᳇ारा िन᳜िलिखत िविनयम बनाता है, अथाᭅत् : 1. संिᭃ᳙ नाम और ᮧारंभ - (1) ये िविनयम भारतीय बीमा िविनयामक और िवकास ᮧािधकरण (ई-बीमा पॉिलिसयᲂ का िनगᭅम)(पहला संशोधन) िविनयम, 2016 के नाम से जाने जाएँगे । (2) ये िविनयम सरकारी राजपᮢ मᱶ इनकᳱ अिधसूचना कᳱ तारीख को ᮧवृᱫ हᲂगे। 2. िविनयम 2(vi):श᭣द "इलै᭍ᮝॉिनक ह᭭ताᭃर हᲂगे" के बाद श᭣द "अथवा एक बार के पासवडᭅ ᳇ारा उसे वैधीकृत ᳰकया जाएगा" जोड़े जाएँगे। 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC. 4] 3. िविनयम 3(v):श᭣द "इलै᭍ᮝॉिनक ह᭭ताᭃर हᲂगे" के बाद श᭣द "अथवा एक बार के पासवडᭅ ᳇ारा उसे वैधीकृत ᳰकया जाएगा" जोड़े जाएँगे। टी. एस. िवजयन , अ᭟ यᭃ [िव᭄ापन.III/4/असाधारण/341(161)] INSURANCE REGULATORY AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Hyderabad, the 2nd December, 2016 Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Issuance of e-insurance policies) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2016 F. No. IRDAI/Reg/23/135/2016 - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(2) read with clause (gb) of sub-section 2 of section 114A of the Insurance Act, 1938, and sub-section (1) of section 26 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India Act, 1999, the Authority, in consultation with the Insurance Advisory Committee hereby makes the following regulations, namely: 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These regulations may be called the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Issuance of e-insurance policies) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their notification in the Official Gazette. 2. Regulation 2(vi): to add the words “or be validated by One Time Password” after the words “electronic signature”. 3.
