नई दिल्ली, 14 अक्तूबर, 2026

सा.का.नि. 888(अ).— घरेलू स्तर पर विनिर्मित लौह एवं इस्पात उत्पाद (डीएमआई एंड एसपी) नीति, जिसे दिनांक 17 दिसंबर, 2025 की अधिसूचना संख्या सा.का.नि. 904(अ) द्वारा अधिसूचित किया गया था तथा जिसमें तत्पश्चात दिनांक 7 अगस्त, 2026 को संशोधन किया गया था, के परिशिष्ट-क में निम्नलिखित संशोधन किया जाता है-

एचएस कोड 7304, 7305, 7306 और 7307 के सामने, “शर्त शीर्षक वाले कॉलम में, “50% घरेलू मूल्यवर्धन शब्दों को मेल्ट एंड पोर” शब्द से प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा।

2. उक्त नीति के परिशिष्ट-ख में, शीर्षक के ठीक नीचे तथा पैकेजों की सूची से पहले, निम्नलिखित टिप्पणी जोड़ी जाएगी, अर्थात्:

टिप्पणी: इस्पात विनिर्माण से संबंधित केंद्रीय सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उद्यम (सीपीएसई), परिशिष्ट-ख में सूचीबद्ध सभी पूंजीगत वस्तुओं की अधिप्राप्ति केवल घरेलू स्रोतों से ही करेंगे। यदि अपेक्षित विनिर्देशों के अनुरूप पूंजीगत वस्तुएं घरेलू स्तर पर उपलब्ध नहीं हैं, तो इस्पात मंत्रालय द्वारा गठित स्थायी समिति द्वारा मामले-दर-मामले आधार पर आयात की अनुमति प्रदान करने संबंधी अनुरोध पर विचार किया जा सकता है।

3. यथासंशोधित घरेलू स्तर पर विनिर्मित लौह एवं इस्पात उत्पाद (डीएमआई एंड एसपी) नीति के अन्य सभी प्रावधान अपरिवर्तित रहेंगे।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 14th October, 2026

G.S.R. 888(E).— In the Domestically Manufactured Iron & Steel Products (DMI&SP) Policy, notified vide G.S.R. 904(E), dated 17th December, 2025, and subsequently amended on 7th August, 2026, the following further amendment is hereby made to Appendix-A:—

"Against HS Codes 7304, 7305, 7306 and 7307, in the column headed “Condition”, the words “50% Domestic Value Addition” shall be substituted with the words “Melt & Pour”."

2. In Appendix-B, immediately below the heading and before the list of packages, the following Note shall be inserted, namely:—

“Note: Steelmaking Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) shall procure all the Capital Goods listed in Appendix-B from domestic sources only. Where Capital Goods meeting the required specifications is not available domestically, a request for permission to import may be considered by Standing Committee constituted by the Ministry of Steel on case-to-case basis.”

3. All other provisions of the DMI&SP Policy, as amended, shall remain unchanged.
