नई दिल्ली, 17 अक्तूबर, 2025

सा.का.नि. 763(अ).— केन्द्रीय सरकार, नोटेरी अधिनियम, 1952 (1952 का 53) की धारा 15 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, नोटेरी नियम, 1956 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-

1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम नोटेरी (संशोधन) नियम, 2025 है।

   (2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

2. नोटेरी नियम, 1956 की अनुसूची में,-

   • (i) गुजरात से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 4 के सामने, स्तंभ (3) में, “2900” अंकों के स्थान पर, “6000” अंक रखे जाएंगे;

   • (ii) तमिलनाडु से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 7 के सामने, स्तंभ (3) में, “2500” अंकों के स्थान पर, “3500” अंक रखे जाएंगे;

   • (iii) राजस्थान से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 12 के सामने, स्तंभ (3) में, “2000” अंकों के स्थान पर, “3000” अंक रखे जाएंगे; और

   • (iv) नागालैंड से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 16 के सामने, स्तंभ (3) में, “200” अंकों के स्थान पर, “400” अंक रखे जाएंगे।

टिप्पण:- मूल नियम भारत के राजपत्र, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (i) में का.नि.आ. 324 तारीख 14 फरवरी, 1956 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और अंतिम बार अधिसूचना संख्यांक सा.का.नि. 132 (अ), तारीख 24 फरवरी, 2024 द्वारा संशोधित किए गए थे।

MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE (Department of Legal Affairs) NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17th October, 2025

G.S.R. 763(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Notaries Act, 1952 (53 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Notaries Rules, 1956, namely: -

1. (1) These rules may be called the Notaries (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

   (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Schedule to the Notaries Rules, 1956, -

   • (i) against serial number 4 relating to Gujarat, in column (3), for the figures "2900", the figures "6000" shall be substituted;

   • (ii) against serial number 7 relating to Tamil Nadu, in column (3), for the figures "2500", the figures "3500" shall be substituted;

   • (iii) against serial number 12 relating to Rajasthan, in column (3), for the figures "2000", the figures "3000" shall be substituted; and

   • (iv) against serial number 16 relating to Nagaland, in column (3), for the figures "200", the figures "400" shall be substituted.

Note: The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number S.R.O. 324, dated the 14th February, 1956 and was last amended vide notification number G.S.R. 132 (E), dated the 24th February, 2024.
